Marian Soida, Ph.D. D.Sc.
– current position: adiunct at Department of Radioastronomy and Space Physics at the Astronomical Observatory of the Jagiellonian University
– born: Feb. 13th 1964, in Chorzów
– high school:
1983-1989 – astronomy at the Jagiellonian University
1986-1989 – computer sciences (same univeristy)
– 1989 – master of astronomy
– since 1989 – staff member of the Astronomical Observatory of JU
– 2002 – PhD in astronomy (Jagiellonian University)
– 2012 – habilitation (Jagiellonian University)
– main scientific interest: magnetized inerstellar and circumgalactic plasma as seen by theory (numerical simulations) and observations.
